Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2/24/2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Probsability uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to protect and improve our web application.

1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide a secure browsing experience.

2. How We Use Cookies

We primarily use cookies and local storage tokens for strictly necessary operational purposes:

  • Authentication: We use JSON Web Tokens (JWT) stored securely on your browser to maintain your logged-in state across page loads and authenticate your API requests.
  • Preferences: We may store minimal UI state preferences to optimize your specific forecasting experience.

3. Third-Party Tracking

Probsability does not use invasive third-party tracking cookies (such as tracking pixels for targeted advertising or massive cross-site analytics scripts). Your forecasting data and psychometric survey results are handled directly by our own backend.

4. Managing Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. However, if you choose to reject strictly necessary cookies (like your auth token), you will not be able to log in, submit predictions, or use the core features of the platform.
